Student Engineers Build Beanstalks in the Makerspace

As part of their fairy tales unit, fourth graders ventured to the Makerspace to create their very own beanstalks. Students worked collaboratively to design a stable and secure structure for an imaginary Jack to climb! Using various materials of their choosing, these creative engineers made some impressively tall beanstalks.

Bringing STEAM and reading together, students engage with their learning on a deeper level.
