About

Our Campuses

Perelman is in Your Neighborhood

You’ll find us on two beautiful campuses with state-of-the-art facilities on the Main Line and in Melrose Park. We are conveniently located for families from Center City to Gladwyne, from Abington to Upper Dublin.

The Stern Center (Junior K-5)

The Stern Center (Junior K-5), our Wynnewood campus, overflows with history and beauty. Nestled amidst 200-year-old trees, our Main Line location is close to many of the area’s most prestigious hospitals and universities, along with countless historically significant properties and multi-denominational synagogues.

The Forman Center (K-5)

The Forman Center (K-5) is situated on the Mandell Education Campus in diverse, scenic Melrose Park, the gateway to Eastern Montgomery and Bucks Counties and home to several synagogues. The Forman Center is alive with discovery, as Jewish and secular learning come together in a setting rich in academic excellence.

Transportation

Our students are generally transported to school in car pools or by their neighborhood public school buses.

Under PA Act 372, transportation is provided by the State of Pennsylvania free of charge to non-public school students who attend a school located within their school district, or up to 10 miles outside their public school district boundaries. This applies for City of Philadelphia residents Grades 1-5 and suburban residents Gan - Grade 5. Perelman provides the names and addresses of our students to their respective school districts, and the districts then determine the bus routes. In late August, school districts will send bus route information directly to families, or publish the information on their websites.

Beginning in the 2022-23 school year, Perelman will also offer a private transportation option* for Philadelphia families.  Families with students in Grades 1-5 may choose busing provided by the Philadelphia School District (no cost) or opt for private van transportation at a subsidized fee of $3,950/child for the 22-23 academic year. *Private companies utilize a hub system and may not pick up students in front of their homes.

Ganon/Gan (Pre-K/K) students from Philadelphia will have a private transportation option to and from school as follows:

Ganon - The subsidized per child fee for private transportation from Center City will be $3,950 for the 2022-2023 academic year.

Gan -  Given the recent change to a private transportation option for Gan students, Gan students will not be charged for private transportation for the 2022-23 school year.  In future years, Gan students will pay the subsidized per child fee for private transportation.

Families with Ganon/Gan students residing in Northwest (Mt. Airy, East Falls, Chestnut Hill, Germantown) and Northeast Philadelphia who are interested in private transportation may contact Mindy Andelman or Jeff Reiss for additional information.

Our school office will assist families wishing to organize private car pools by connecting you with other Perelman families who live nearby.  Contact perelmanready for more information.
