Perelman Community Observes Yom HaZikaron & Yom Ha’atzmaut
After a moving school-wide Yom HaZikaron ceremony honoring the brave individuals who gave their lives defending Israel, our community came together with joy and pride to celebrate Yom Ha’atzmaut—Israel’s Independence Day! The day was filled with ruach (spirit) as students danced to Israeli music, “visited” a Kibbutz, played classic Israeli games, students explored a vibrant “shuk” (marketplace) filled with sights and sounds reminiscent of Jerusalem, sang heartfelt songs, ate delicious Israeli foods, and created beautiful Israel-inspired art. These meaningful experiences deepen our students' lifelong connection to Israel—a bond they carry with them as they grow, learn, and make their mark on the world.
