Your child’s Jewish education is within reach.

Perelman Jewish Day School offers an array of programs to make a Jewish day school education affordable.

Financial Aid

We provide needs-based financial aid to qualified applicants and encourage families to apply. Financial aid is determined each year based on the number of applicants and available funds. Each application is carefully considered on needs and circumstances, and while we realize that each situation is unique, financial aid is quantified as a dollar figure: consistently and fairly allocated to all qualifying applicants. Over $1,600,000 is awarded to more than 40% of the families.

Completed financial aid applications are reviewed anonymously and families are notified of their awards by the spring. Funds are limited, so it is imperative that families meet all specified deadlines. Please consult the current financial aid application for these dates. Late applications may be considered if funds are still available.

To apply for financial aid, please submit a complete financial aid application including the following documents to the Perelman Jewish Day School Business Office:

Affordability

List of 2 items.

  • Cozen Scholars Program

Community leaders Sandy and Steve Cozen have made it possible for more families to afford a Perelman education for their children.

Due to their tremendous generosity and philanthropic vision, the Cozens have offered a $5,000 incentive to new families during the first year that they enroll their children at Perelman. This magnanimous gift will touch the lives of many more families, so that dozens of Cozen Scholars will be Growing Up Perelman.

Qualifying families are those whose total income is between $150,000-$350,000 and are new to the school. After the initial year of enrollment, families may apply to participate in the Perelman Jewish Day School Tuition Affordability Program.

A limited number of Cozen Scholars Incentive Grants are available.
  • Tuition Affordability Program

The Perelman Jewish Day School Affordability Program is available to both new and current families who fall somewhere in the middle – between those that are able to comfortably pay full tuition for their children, and those that qualify for traditional financial aid.

The program is based on a family’s total income and the number of children they have enrolled at Perelman, allowing families to predict their future tuition payments. Qualifying families are those who have a total income between $150,000-$350,000.

The Tuition Affordability Grid below shows the amount of the grant you could receive based on the number of children that your family enrolls each year.

The grant is in effect for every year your child or children are at Perelman, from Kindergarten to Grade 5, making it easier to plan what your tuition costs will be in the future as your family grows.
