After much preparation, our fifth graders put on an unforgettable production of Moana, Jr. last Saturday night!
Students researched the Pacific Islands, cultures, and languages. They rehearsed dances and songs in Samoan, Tokelauan, Hebrew, and English. They built and painted elaborate sets to bring the story to life. And when they took their final bows, it was clear that all of the hard work behind the scenes had paid off!
Special thanks to our teachers and directors, Shani Doane, Amanda Gurgul, and Jenny Hanley, for their hard work and dedication. And thank you to the Susan Lautman Arts Fund whose generosity makes these incredible productions possible.
