Student Leaders Focus on Kindness

Perelman Jewish Day School
Forman Center student council members submitted this report on their work so far this year:

Student council members work together to represent our student body and to help make our already amazing school even better. This year, so far, we have focused on kindness around our school. For example, we have shared ideas about kindness in our morning assembly. Also, representatives decorated a kindness box by drawing pictures of nice activities and sayings to place in the box. We used those pictures on our bulletin board. We added snowflakes to the bulletin board to advertise our book fair. Some other things we have accomplished include the following: we voted on schoolwide electives and shared things that we are thankful for at morning assembly before Thanksgiving. Student council members are devoted to being manhigim (“leaders” in Hebrew).
