The Learning Resource Program offers an individualized program of supplementary academic services to students who qualify. Our goal is to help every student become a self-advocate through understanding of individual strengths and weaknesses and to learn techniques to overcome deficits. Each student’s program is designed according to his own learning style, with carefully developed goals and specific instruction.

Lessons are scheduled with a certified learning specialist either one-on-one or in small groups of students with similar needs. The learning specialist offers support in both the resource room and the mainstream classroom as needed. Our highly successful program provides students with study and organizational techniques/strategies, as well as skills to develop written and verbal expression, reading comprehension, decoding/encoding and/or reinforcement of mathematics.

Our sensitive, knowledgeable specialists communicate regularly with the students’ teachers and parents to coordinate progress and ensure the success of each and every child.
