WELCOME
- Bruchim Ha-Ba'im!
Welcome to the website of
Perelman Jewish Day School. I am thrilled that you are taking
the opportunity to learn about our wonderful institution
and its critically important mission of educating Jewish
children. At Perelman Jewish Day School we educate young
boys and girls to live with strength and dignity as Americans
and Jews in the modern world. We provide a unique academic,
spiritual, moral, and skills-based program that seeks to
foster the individuality of each and every child. Our highly
qualified teachers are dedicated to educating the whole child.
They successfully provide a caring and responsive atmosphere
that creates a myriad of opportunities for growth and development
for every student. Our students thrive within the nurturing
halls of our four centers.
We view our families as an integral part of our community.
The parent-school relationship is fostered and respected. Throughout
the academic year, there are numerous opportunities for families
to become a part of our many creative and dynamic programs.
We provide family education programs that seek to meet the
many needs of young Jewish families. As our children grow in
their knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of Judaism,
so do our families. Our families are our partners in this sacred
alliance of educating children to assume their rightful role
as tomorrows' leaders in both the civic and religious
life of the American Jewish community. As such, we aspire to
the Judaic ideal of viewing our students not only as our children,
but also as the future builders of our country and the Jewish
people.
A website, no matter how creative and innovative, cannot provide
the multi-dimensional experience that is gained by a visit
to one of our centers. May I take this opportunity to invite
you to visit our institution, taste its flavors, sample its
aromas, view the sights, and witness first hand the dynamic
and exciting educational processes that occur within our walls
each and every day.
B'shalom,
Jay Leberman
